美術作家。1983年愛媛県生まれ。2016年に東京藝術大学大学院美術研究科博士後期課程修了、博士号（美術）を取得。2019年にミュンヘン造形美術アカデミー修了、フローリアン・プムへスル教授のもとでマイスターシューラー号を取得。「空虚（the Void）」をめぐる思考をもとに、多様なメディアを横断的に扱いながら作品制作とアートプロジェクトに取り組む。2020年以降は、主に広島における第二次世界大戦以降の歴史継承の問題をめぐって、想起の芸術の今日的な可能性を追求する。近年の主な個展に、「The Long Wait」（町立久万美術館 / 愛媛 / 2025年）、「Unknown People」（広島市立大学芸術資料館 / 広島 / 2025年）、「Based on a True Story」（原爆の図丸木美術館 / 埼玉 / 2024年）、Then we should call this a sacred place （gallery G / 広島 / 2024年）、「Blank Maps」（Cage Gallery / 東京 / 2023年）、「Half-life of Archetype」（広島県立美術館 / 広島 / 2023年）、「K 15-30D」（広島芸術センター / 広島 / 2022年）、「Cube with Eye」(switch point / 東京 / 2019年)、「As you see it」(Yamamoto Keiko Rochaix / ロンドン / 2019年)、「In the Walls」（資生堂ギャラリー / 東京 / 2017年）、「Room A.EG_05」 (ミュンヘン造形美術アカデミー / ミュンヘン / 2014年)、「White Cube」（トーキョーワンダーサイト本郷 / 東京 / 2013年）がある。作品集『Around the Void』（水声社 / 2025年）を刊行。
Artist. Born 1983 in Ehime Prefecture, Japan. PhD in Fine Arts from Graduate school of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, in 2016. Diploma Meisterschüler from the Academy of Fine Arts Munich, Germany under the professorship of Florian Pumhösl, in 2019. Grounded in an inquiry into “the Void,” he engages in artistic production and art projects across a wide range of media. Since 2020, he has primarily explored the contemporary possibilities of an art of remembrance in relation to questions of historical inheritance in postwar Hiroshima. Recent solo exhibitions include: The Long Wait, Kuma Museum of Art, Ehime (2025); Unknown People, Hiroshima City University Art Museum, Hiroshima (2025); Based on a True Story, the Maruki Gallery for the Hiroshima Panels, Saitama (2024); Then we should call this a sacred place, Gallery G, Hiroshima (2024); Blank Maps, Cage Gallery, Tokyo (2023); Half-life of Archetype, Hiroshima Prefectural Art Museum, Hiroshima (2023); K 15-30D, Hiroshima Art Center, Hiroshima (2022); Cube with Eye, switch point, Tokyo (2019); As you see it, Yamamoto Keiko Rochaix, London (2019); In the Walls, Shiseido Gallery, Tokyo (2017); Room A.EG_05, the Academy of Fine Arts, Munich (2014); White Cube, Tokyo Wonder Site Hongo, Tokyo (2013).
